Super Boost Bar

Ingredients

  • 250ml   golden syrup
  • 75ml honey
  • 125g butter
  • 250g Muesli
  • 250g porridge oats
  • 1banana
  • 88g mixed nuts
  • 88g mixed seeds

Method

1. Melt the butter and the golden syrup with half the honey
2. Add the nuts & squashed bananas and warm a little more
3. Stir in the porridge oats and add the muesli until all is coated
4. Turn out into a greased baking tray, then put a sheet of grease proof on top and flatten down
5. Remove the grease proof and cook for 12mins at 170c
6. Take out of the oven, top with the seeds and the rest of the honey and flatten down again, then bake for 4 more mins
7. Allow to cool then portion and serve

Great for breakfast on the go, with an afternoon cuppa or just about anytime you need an energy boost.
